Johnson Controls A19DAC-1 pipe mounted aquastat, 115 Volt, 100F-240F setpoint range. A pipe mounted aquastat is used to sense hot water moving through the supply pipe. If the aquastat senses the correct temperature, it closes its contacts and turns on the fan. This is typically used if the boiler control panel determines when a zone requires heat. On a call for heat, the boiler control panel sends water to the unit heater, the aquastat senses the hot pipe and turns on the fan. When the zone is satisfied, the boiler control panel stops sending hot water to the unit heater, the pipe cools down, the aquastat turns off the fan. An aquastat is also occassionally wired in series with a wall mounted thermostat to prevent the unit heater fan from turning on before the supply water is hot. This prevents cold air from blowing during start-up.

2 way hot water control valve, 2 position (open/close), 115 Volt, 1" NPT, 15 PSI maximum pressure.
